Absolut Art Space is hosting a special night for trade tomorrow (Mar 22) where they will have an opportunity to preview the new flavour Absolut Berri Acai, which will be released in May.

The new flavour will be showcased in a unique bar gallery environment, surrounded by artworks by the likes of Andy Warhol, Louise Bourgeois and Francesco Clemente.

There will be live ‘art wars’ between bars, The Norfolk, Lady Lux and The Flinders, from 8-9pm, with the guys taking each other on with graffiti art incorporating the iconic Absolut bottle.

The winner will be awarded by audience participation so trade should come to the gallery to cheer on their favourite bar.

Adding to the urban vibe, Blake Head and Charlie Wong of Rockpool Bar & Grill fame, and Andy Penny from The Flinders will take turns behind the decks instead of behind the bar, with guest DJ spots.

Marco Faraone and the team from Flavour will mix up Absolut Berri Acai and Absolut classics throughout the night, trialling the new flavour with innovative cocktails.

The event will be held at Ray Hughes Gallery, which is located at 270 Devonshire St, Surry Hills, and the gallery space is open between 7pm and 10pm.

Members of the trade who would like to attend should contact their Pernod Ricard representative.
