The re-opening of the Dee Why Hotel next month (August) will mean 50 new full and part time vacancies need to be filled prior to the launch.

The much anticipated return of the iconic northern beaches hotel after a three year closure will offer employment opportunities for a range of positions from wait staff to managers.

“We are very excited to be getting close to re-launching the new hotel,” Wayne Bayfield of the Bayfield Hotel group told TheShout.

“Without giving too much away, the hotel will be offering a vibrant and unique beaches’ destination venue where punters can come and enjoy a bite to eat and linger long into the night.”

The Bayfields have invested heavily in the redesign of the hotel and have employed SJB interiors to deliver a venue reflecting northern beaches culture.

SJB have been the driving force behind many of Sydney’s new bar venues including the Establishment, Hugos, Will & Tobys, the Dolphin and Woolwich Pier.

“The hotel is looking for experienced, enthusiastic people with outstanding personalities to fill a variety of our key roles, both full-time and casual, that include management, kitchen, floor, bar, cocktail and wait staff,” said Bayfield.

The hotel forms part of the soon to be completed Dee Why Grand mixed-use redevelopment complex that includes 161 residential apartments, a shopping centre as well as 6000sqm of commercial space.

The Bayfield Hotel Groups also owns Newport Arms, Newport Mirage and the recently developed Belrose Hotel.
