Finalists for the second year of the Beer & Brewer Awards have been announced, with a who’s who of the liquor industry geared up for the presentation dinner on the evening of October 25 at the Sebel Hotel, in Sydney’s Surry Hills.

This year the awards will be preceded by a Trade Show, designed as an opportunity for finalists and industry to network with sponsors and suppliers prior to the evening event.

Forum topics to be covered at the Trade Show focus on the kind of challenges facing breweries, with a poignant session on matching food and beer, and beer and cider tastings featuring product from the finalists. Pre-booking is essential for FOC entry.

The Beer & Brewer Awards were created to recognise venues and suppliers that are propagating the joint ideals of great beer and great service.

31 categories are to be awarded, which include Best Beer Venue, Best Small Bar/Pub, Best Bottleshop, Best Beertender, Best Beer (local and imported) and more.

Tickets are $99 each or $890 for a table of ten, and available through the Beer & Brewer website.
