Beer & Brewer, published by The Intermedia Group, is Australia’s leading cross-platform title in the beer and cider space, with particular focus on the burgeoning craft beer sector. Its print magazine, website and newsletter are read by beer enthusiasts, commercial brewers, home brewers and other members of the beer industry.
As the Beer Media Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling advertising and sponsorship to craft brewers, major beer companies and some spirits suppliers.
Selling across digital and print products as well as an exhibition, you will work from a well-established client base but new business development will play an important role, especially in this rapidly evolving market.
This is a hands-on selling role requiring great social skills as you’ll need to have a beer with clients and attend events in and outside of office hours.
We are only after enthusiastic and social people that can sell. You’ll be a natural around people and have some experience in sales as a sales rep or from your hospitality background. Experience in selling exhibitions or print and digital media would be an advantage.
You will need to be able to pitch and present ideas in sales meetings and follow up with written proposals.
As a self-starter, you’ll be capable of thinking outside the box and tailoring marketing solutions to the needs of clients.
Importantly, you must be passionate about beer or want to learn everything there is to know about beer and the beer industry.
In return for your efforts, you will be compensated with a competitive base salary plus superannuation, and access to an uncapped commission incentive scheme.
