Bentspoke brewing Co’s brewed ginger beer and been relabelled as Fixie and is making its return to cans this week; the beer is also available on tap to venues not in lockdown.

With a balance of sweetness and considerable ginger kick Fixie is a full mash, all grain brewed ginger beer consisting of real ginger from Buderim in Queensland and brewed with Cashmere hops.

When Bentspoke Co-Founders Rich Watkins and Tracy Margrain opened their Braddon BrewPub the aim was to one day put their beers into cans. After two can releases the pair asked customers which beer would they like to see in cans and the Ginger Beer came out on top.

“Ginger Beer was from memory the 12th beer we brewed in the Brewpub in 2014 and quickly became a pub favourite. We wanted to focus on something that tasted great and was of the highest quality ginger beer that we felt proud to stand behind. Can’t wait for everyone to try this and make it their beer of the summer,” Margrain said.

At 3.5 per cent ABV and an IBU of 12, Fixie is a great sessionable beer for summer and will be released on tap and in four-pack and 24-pack, Australia wide this week.
