Lion is today launching the largest ever advertising campaign for the Corona Extra brand in its Australian history.

Surf filmmaker Taylor Steele and photographer Chris Searl created 'On Mexico Time', a new take on Corona's 'From Where You'd Rather Be' campaign, which received well over a million views via online channels.

Filmed in Mexico over two weeks, On Mexico Time took Steele, Searl and friends on a surfing trip across the country. [continues below]

Lion, Grupo Modelo and agency MC Creative collaborated on the campaign, which will run across TV, outdoor, print and below-the-line channels.

Corona Extra marketing manager Todd Atkinson told TheShout that over 2,300 independent bottle shops and bars will be activating the campaign, along with Lion's national customers.
