Pacific Beverages has appointed Paul Feasey as its brewing and quality manager for the new Bluetongue Brewery in Warnervale, which will be fully operational by mid-2010.

Feasey comes to Bluetongue Brewery with over 15 years of experience in the brewing industry.

Originally from England, Paul has worked in some of the most prestigious breweries in England, Africa and Ireland with Guinness and Diageo.

Qualifying as a Master Brewer in 2003, Paul moved to Australia in 2005, joining Lion Nathan as Brewing Manager at breweries in South Australia and Western Australia.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to brew most of the major styles using a variety of raw materials in many exotic places,” said Feasey. “The new Bluetongue Brewery offers me an opportunity to hone my skills on a Greenfields site in a great location.

“There are not many occasions in a brewers’ career where you are able to start with a brand new brewery, allowing you to mould and shape the production of a growing beer brand. Bluetongue has a highly motivated and passionate team, which will allow us to set the bench mark for operational standards for all the breweries in the region.”

Bluetongue is currently recruiting other employment positions for the new brewery. For more information, click here.
