Finalists for the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award have been announced, with the exhibition at Sydney’s Object Gallery opening September 6.
Now in its sixth year, the prestigious award is recognised locally and internationally, and aims to reward and promote excellence in functional design.
The finalists range from Victoria, NSW, Queensland and South Australia and will exhibit their contemporary functional designs in lighting, furniture, accessories and homewares.
A panel of senior industry identities will determine the winning design. The winner will receive a $30,000 scholarship and a trip to Milan to attend the Salon del Mobile design exhibition.
The exhibition runs from September 6 to November 2 at the Object Gallery in Surry Hills.
