Police have charged a 41-year-old bottle shop owner in relation to the theft of more than 3,000 cartons of beer earlier this month.

A trailer containing 3,193 cartons of beer valued at $80,000 was allegedly stolen from Sydney's Wetherill Park between Saturday 18th and Monday 20th February.

A 41-year-old bottle shop owner was subsequently charged with receiving and dealing with property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
