The Australian Liquor Stores Association (ALSA) has launched the latest module in its professional development program, Retail Insights.

The online training program was launched last year at the annual ALSA conference in August and during that time ALSA has rolled out eight modules that have been specifically developed to educate liquor retailers on best practice principles that are relevant to them.

The latest module, Getting The Most From Your POS System, outlines how to maximise in-store POS systems to control stock and protect records, as well as control the sales mix, pricing and gross profit.

Just shy of one year from its initial launch, ALSA Retail Insights has clocked up 3000 visitors to the website, which ALSA chief executive officer, Terry Mott, has described as a milestone.

“We are extremely pleased with the take up of this important program and we are grateful for the support shown by our supplier partners for this project.

The feedback from our members has been very positive and we are looking forward to continuing to build on this achievement,” said Mott.

ALSA Retail Insights is currently available at no cost for a limited time. For more information, click here.
