Brancott Estate has begun the rollout of new packaging across its range, marking the final move in its transition from its former name of Montana.

The New Zealand winery rebranded as Brancott Estate in September last year, with Pernod Ricard New Zealand’s managing director, Fabian Partigliani describing the new packaging as the final significant stage of the brand’s transition.

”The global move to the Brancott Estate name has been well received and supported by a number of high-profile initiatives which have helped take the brand from strength to strength and have positioned it for well accelerated growth,” Partigliani said.

“These initiatives include the global launch of the brand’s ‘Stay Curious’ campaign and the sponsorship of the Rugby World Cup 2011 that delivered unprecedented sponsorship exposure never before seen for a New Zealand wine brand. The time is now right to move Brancott Estate to this final phase, and we are confident that the new look packaging will further cement the brand’s strong reputation on the world stage.”

The packaging revamp will coincide with the release of the 2011 vintage this month.
