Bridge Road Brewers is embarking on an exciting new chapter in its 16-year history, opening an all-new 350-seat brewery and dining hall at East Brunswick Village in Melbourne.

As well as a production brewery the new venue will feature a mobile canning facility and the dining hall will be home to 30 taps pouring beer brewed on-site and at Bridge Road-s Beechworth-based brewery.

Founder Ben Kraus said: “Maria and I are truly excited to embed ourselves in and embrace the community and culture of Melbourne’s inner north. We’ve been carefully considering a step towards a city venue for over a decade and have finally found a new place that we can’t wait to call home.”

The dining hall will also feature the excellent fare for which Bridge Road is well-known, with regional produce and pizza taking centre stage.

The brewery will be located in the entertainment-focused precinct of EBV, called Bluestone Way.

Mario Lo Giudice, Director and the property developer behind EBV, Banco Group, said: “With EBV, we’re creating a village that encompasses all the benefits of living in a real community. It’s what Plan Melbourne calls a 20-minute neighbourhood, and of course having a local brewery where people can meet and have a direct connection to the source of their food and drink is an essential part of that.

“We’re thrilled to have Bridge Road Brewers on board for our latest address. Bluestone Way is going to be the social epicentre of EBV and they’re a perfect fit.”

Construction of Bluestone Way is already underway at EBV, with an opening set for October 2022.
