Victoria’s Bridge Road Brewers has continued its innovative approach of showcasing the individual characteristics of different Australian hop varieties, releasing its first ever retail mixed pack, the Beer School Hop Pack.

The Beer School Hop Pack contains four 330ml single hop IPAs: Galaxy, Ella, Summer and Vic Secret. [continued below]

“Each of the four beers in the pack contain the same malt recipe, brew schedule and yeast strain, it is only the hop variety that differs,” says Bridge Road founder Ben Kraus.

“The result is four similar but different beers, allowing the drinker to clearly identify the flavour and aroma of each hop variety.”

Kraus told TheShout the packs are now available through Dan Murphy’s nationally as well as the independent trade.

He said Bridge Road has significantly increased its volumes through both Dan Murphy’s and BWS in recent months, with the Pale Ale recently becoming a national stock item, while its Celtic Red and Golden Ale are available in Victorian and Tasmanian stores.
