Budweiser, the official beer of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has created a free resource to assist venues planning to televise World Cup football matches.

Lion Nathan Australia, as part of its World Cup activity for Budweiser, has created a library of graphic files that venues can download and play on their internal screens to advertise every match they are planning to televise.

There are separate libraries with correct kick off times for each of Australia’s three time zones.

It is envisaged that venues will run the “Watch the World Cup Here” title screen and follow that with the selected matches.

“The 2010 FIFA World Cup promises to be one of the most exciting sporting events in recent history and, with kick-off fast approaching, Lion Nathan and Budweiser want to help bars and clubs throughout Australia get a dose of World Cup fever,” said Budweiser commercial director, Ben Slocombe.

“Budweiser is receiving unprecedented support in the Australian market and we anticipate venues will showcase Budweiser front and centre to make the most of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

“We are hoping this presence, coupled with the FIFA World Cup advertisements Lion Nathan is providing, will assist in creating a sociable atmosphere in every bar and club throughout Australia during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.”
