Bueno Aires bar Tres Monos has been announced as the winner of the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award 2023, which is part of this year’s The World’s 50 Best Bar Awards.
The Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award is selected by the 650 anonymous industry experts that make up The World’s 50 Best Bars Academy and reflects where the judges said they received the single-best hospitality experience during the judging period.
Tres Monos co-founders and owners Charly Aguinsky and Sebastián Atienza said: “Argentina and Latin America stand out for the hospitality of its people. In Tres Monos particularly, we believe hospitality is the most important thing in a bar because people might forget what they had to drink but they won’t forget how you made them feel. That was our primary goal when we opened the bar: to make people feel welcomed in every situation; hence receiving the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award is the ultimate accolade for us as a group.

The Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award is the first of two special awards that will be announced in the run-up to the unveiling of the list of The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023.

The World’s 50 Best Bars live ceremony will take place on Tuesday 17 October in Singapore, the first time the event has been held outside of Europe, with bar and cocktail lovers are invited to join through The World’s 50 Best Bars Facebook page and 50 Best Bars TV channel on YouTube.
