Calabria Family Wines has launched a new range which pays homage to the true partnership of the second generation of the family business – Bill and Lena Calabria.

Bélena (Bill + Lena) celebrates the couple’s determination to provide a better future for the next generation with hard work, tenacity and grace.

“Mum and Dad have always done whatever they could to keep the Calabria business going. Even when times got tough in the 80s, Bill and Lena worked as one spending days on end washing wine bottles in an old soft-drink bottle washer for other local wineries,” third-generation Sales & Marketing Manager Andrew Calabria said.

“During the good and tough times, Mum and Dad were front and centre working together for the good of the business. They continue to be an inspiration to me, my brothers and sister and we’re so pleased we can recognise the spirit of their brilliant partnership in the new Bélena range.

To celebrate the launch of the new range Calabria is invited ‘true partners’ to blend their names together and the winery will then create personalised custom labels. Calabria Family Wines will then deliver the labels to customers to place directly on their Bélena wine to share with that special someone.

Andrew added: “We think this is a fun and personalised way for people to celebrate those close to them and see their names on a wine label. We’ve had a lot of fun bringing this to life and we can’t wait to see the clever blended names people come up with.”

The new range features the 2021 Bélena Pinot Grigio, 2020 Bélena Moscato and 2019 Bélena Montepulciano – three easy-drinking wines crafted for immediate enjoyment.

The wines are packaged in eye-catching etched glass bottles with foiled gold features, which the winery said helps make the wines the perfect option to bring to the dining table or to enjoy with friends.

To create a custom label, customers must purchase two bottles of Calabria Bélena Pinot Grigio or Moscato from where the wine is sold and visit the Calabria Wines website to fill out the customisation form and upload a proof of purchase document. Once the form is complete and submitted, the team at Calabria will print and post the sticker label directly to you to place on the bottle. Labels will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and limitations do apply.
