Camus Cognac is again available in Australia after a yearlong break following the appointment of Alepat Taylor as the brand’s new importer and distributor.

The Camus range has been unavailable in Australia since the beginning of last year, before which the range was imported by Stepbec International.

Former Stepbec International director, Bob Withers, said he arranged the transfer of the Camus account after taking on the position of business development manager at Alepat Taylor.

“Camus is a wonderful family owned company and everything they do is very personal,” Withers said. “They believe in sharing their products with the world — that’s something they always talk about.”

Founded in 1863, Camus Cognac is a leading global cognac brand and the largest independently owned cognac house in the world.

The Camus Cognac portfolio comprises Camus VS, Camus VSOP Extra, Camus XO Extra, Baccarat Jubilee, Berneroy Calvados ‘Fine’ XO, Berville XO brandy and Camus Borderies XO, a 100 per cent cognac from the highly sought Borderies region of France.
