Capital Brewing Co is celebrating National Non-Alcoholic Beer Day by partnering with a selection of Sydney pubs and Pace Athletic to give away complimentary non-alcoholic beers on Sunday, 2 October.

The brewer is partnering with The Lord Dudley, Robin Hood Hotel, The Glenmore, The Australian, Keg & Brew and Commodore Hotel in Sydney, as well as The Bennett and Wil & Sons in Newcastle to give a can of its first non-alcoholic beer, ALC-LESS with any meal purchased during lunch.

In addition, Pace Athletic will also be handing out a can of ALC-LESS with every purchase of shoes on Sunday 2 October, in both its Rozelle and Manly stores.

Capital Brewing Co. Founders and Managing Directors, Tom Hertel and Laurence Kain said that since its launch in July, the demand for ALC-LESS has gone through the roof.

Hertel said: “As more and more of our customers’ lifestyles are changing to become more focused on health and wellbeing, they can’t afford to be hungover but still want to kick back at the end of the day with a good tasting brew.

“We’re excited to be celebrating the day dedicated to non-alcoholic beers and offering more customers the opportunity to taste ALC-LESS by partnering with some of the best pubs around Sydney and our favourite running store, Pace Athletic.”

Commenting on the uniqueness of ALC-LESS and its development journey, Kain added: “We spent more than two years creating ALC-LESS to ensure that its recipe holds up against the perfectly balanced, delicious taste that Capital drinkers have come to expect while removing all the alcohol.

“The flavour, quality and consistency of the product was incredibly important to us and so, after heaps of research and development and, as our first non-alcholic beer, we’re are pretty proud of the end result.”
