Casella Wines has appointed two NSW area sales managers for [yellow tail] while also announcing a new distribution deal in Fiji and surrounding islands.

Stan Genakis will take charge of the Eastern Suburbs, CBD, Inner West and Southern Suburbs of Sydney while Mark Davies focuses on the North Shore, Northern Beaches and the Hills District

Genakis has more than seven years experience in the wine trade and comes to Casella from Littore Family Wines where he was responsible for establishing an on-and-off-premise customer base.

Davies was previously with QBI / Bacardi Lion where he dealt directly with on-and-off premise establishments in many areas of NSW to manage the Bacardi Lion wine portfolio.

“We are thrilled that Stan and Mark have joined our team,” said NSW sales manager, David Begg.

“Both are very smart operators dedicated to finding the best solutions for the trade and for the Casella Wines business.”

In further Casella Wines news, the wine company has appointed Lawhill Limited to distribute [yellow tail] throughout Fiji and the surrounding islands.

The partnership comes at a time that sees Australian wine exports to Fiji growing steadily.

According to John Casella, managing director of Casella Wines, joining with Lawhill Limited is an exciting step for the family business.

“I believe we have found a like‐minded partner with significant reach and influence in Fiji,” he said. “We are pleased to offer locals and visitors of Fiji a great quality wine for excellent value.”

Neil Underhill and Greg Lawlor, co‐owners of Lawhill Limited, are equally pleased with the joint venture.
