Casella Family Brands has restructured, and is expanding, its national accounts team following an increase in sales for 2015.

The restructure has seen a number of changes for the company, with three key appointments coming to the national accounts team.

The company told TheShout: “The new structure allows the team to work on the continuing growth [of Yellow Tail] while still being able to capitalise on the current uptrend in premium wine domestically with Peter Lehmann Wines and Casella.”

The three key appointments are:

Ben McGrath who joins Casella from Peter Lehmann to take up the role as Field Sales Manager,  Queensland. Ben brings with him 16 years’ experience in the premium wine space and will play an integral part in developing team’s premium wine knowledge.

Alan Kammouni joins the team from McWilliams and is the National Accounts Manager for Coles. Alan brings to the role vast sales experience from many years managing national customers in both a liquor and FMCG space. He possesses the skills and knowledge required to drive the continual growth of a diverse portfolio.

And finally Brad Ipson who is supplementing a six year tenure as Queensland State Manager by managing Casella’s largest independent national account, Independent Brands Australia (IBA). Brad has a wealth of liquor experience and intimate knowledge of Casella’s brands and winemaking philosophy.

These roles will support Casella Family Brands’ national business manager, Chris Blockley who oversees all national customers.
