Casella Family Brands (CFB) has made two senior appointments to its marketing team to help meet the demands of the company’s recent expansion.

Clive Coleman, formerly with Carlton and United Breweries, has been appointed as CFB’s global head of marketing and experienced wine marketer Olivia Barrie has joined the company as its marketing manager for premium wines.

Coleman, who will be working on CFB’s global marketing and brand strategies, said: “CFB is a highly innovative company that keeps its consumers at the heart of everything it does. This, in combination with the diverse collection of wines and scale that the company has to offer is an exciting prospect for any marketer.”

Barrie has held global marketing positions with Yalumba and Hill Smith Family Vineyards, Grant Burge Wines and Brown Brothers and she will be based at the Peter Lehmann winery in the Barossa. She will be responsible for implementing the strategic marketing plans for Peter Lehmann and the Casella premium portfolio.

“Having spent much of my career working with brands in and around the Barossa, I have a real passion for the region, the people and the community. I’m really excited to be working for Casella Family Brands bringing their premium portfolio to the rest of the world and continuing to place Australia’s premium wine offerings on the map,” Barrie said.

Both Coleman and Barrie have commenced their positions at Casella Family Brands.
