Coca-Cola Amatil's (CCA) bartending training team Mixxit have announced they are looking for a new brand ambassador to join their established team.

Based in Melbourne, the role will include both internal and external training, as well as the national management of the existing Maker’s Mark Embassy Program, a global initiative for the small-batch bourbon.

The successful applicant will need to be passionate, creative and prepared to work alongside the Mixxit team and their approach to professional and relevant bartender training.

They will also have the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines, and have the necessary communication skills and initiative to work with both internal and external customers.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Customer Brand Training Sessions in both regional and metro areas across Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia
  • Attendance and participation at relevant state-based trade shows and events. Sales support and management of brand specific off-premise programs by state
  • Internal training of CCA staff on premium spirit portfolio and attendance at monthly state meetings
  • Hands on management of global brand owner visits in conjunction with brand managers
  • National management of the Maker's Mark Embassy program-maintain customers in conjunction with sales team and accruement of new participating venues.
  • Input into below the line planning with the marketing team.
  • Customised training and promotional activity retail specific support programs.
  • Monthly report to State Manager and Line Manager on sales uplift, brand activation/training implemented

The CCA portfolio includes Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Canadian Club, Courvoisier, BOLS, The MACALLAN, Russian Standard, Sauza Tequila, Cruzan Rum and Galliano.
