Cerbaco, exclusive importers and distributors of Cognac, Armagnac, Calvados and liqueurs will be hosting a trade tasting session in Sydney on Wednesday.

The event will feature Gérard Chaussée from Védrenne Liqueurs and Florence Boucheron from Tariquet Armagnac.

Florence Boucheron's Armagnac Master Class will cover the history of Domaine Du Tariquet, the complex process of producing Armagnac, and guide guests on a sensory journey of Tariquet’s unique Armagnacs made only with Folle Blanche grapes – the first varietal used to produce Cognac and Armagnac in the 19th century.

The Tariquet Armagnac range includes 100% Folle Blanche non-aged, 5 years, 8 years and 15 years and an Ugni Blanc and Baco XO.

The Vedrenne Liqueur range includes apricot, white cocoa, lychee, wild strawberry and elderflower varieties.

Cerbaco managing director Valerie Blayac said: “We’re honoured to have Florence and Gérard visit Australia. This is the perfect opportunity for bartenders and members of the trade to discover the intricacies of Tariquet Armagnac and Vedrenne Liqueurs from the respective brands' representatives. The Cerbaco team and I look forward to a great day at The Oak Barrel.”

The trade tasting will be held between 12pm and 5pm this Wednesday at The Oak Barrel. For further information, visit the Cerbaco website.
