Annual charity event, Amber Affair, will be held next Thursday (22 Oct) at The Argyle in The Rocks, to raise much needed funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, and you can win tickets here.
Hosted by journalist and Nine Network presenter Peter Stefanovic, Amber Affair is a fun tasting event where guests can enjoy samples from craft beer, cider, wine and gin store holders, all while supporting a great cause.
Tickets include free flowing finger food, a tasting from every exhibiting brewery and winery and three full glasses from your favourite exhibitors, including the like of Endeavour Vintage Beer Co, Batlow Cider, Premium Beverages and Rocks Brewing Company.
This year the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation is aiming to raise $60,000 at Amber Affair to support more than 45,800 sick and injured children at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
"We are proud to host Amber Affair for its 14th consecutive year. It’s a relaxed event for friends and colleagues to get together to sample unique beers and wine and have the chance to win some amazing prizes," said Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation CEO Leanne Warner.
"Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick relies on generous donations from the public, as well as fundraising events such as this, to really make a difference to the children and their families who are treated here at the hospital. Throughout Amber Affair’s lifetime we have raised a total of $600,000, which is fantastic and this year we hope to add an extra $60,000 to this great total."
Attendees have the chance to enter competitions to win prizes on the night, with a raffle where one lucky attendee can win ‘Beer for a Year’.

Entrants must be over 18 years old
The winner will be notified on Facebook by 20 October, 2015. After notification the winner will be contacted by a member of the Beer & Brewer team to organise the prize.
