The Chartreuse Chevalier Tournament returns once again, giving local bartenders a chance to win a trip to the Chartreuse Monastery and Distillery in Voiron, France.

As part of the competition, bartenders will be set a variety of challenges to test their knowledge of this iconic herbal liqueur, as well as being tasked with creating a new Chartreuse-based signature cocktail and promoting it in their venue.

"During the tournament you will be able to interact (sledging encouraged) with your fellow competitors and see what they are doing to promote their drinks in their venues using the Chartreuse Chevalier Australia Facebook page," said Chartreuse brand ambassador, Nathan 'Stretch' Bradbery.

"Every task, challenge and question you answer correctly, as well as your venues' sales figures during the promotional period wins you tournament points. At the end of the tournament's promotional stages, the ten competitors with the highest points and ranking will advance to the final round."

The ten finalists will then be flown from their nearest capital city to attend a special lunch on 11 November, where the winner will be announced. Registrations close on July 31.
