Communications manager at d’Arenberg, Luke Tyler, has requested that TheShout clarify a point made in our Friday newsletter with the following statement.
“d’Arenberg did not record a loss in the financial year 08/09, but in fact recorded a profit of 2.65 million. Your article does state this but precedes it with ‘Fellow family owned wine company d’Arenberg has also suffered a loss in the last financial year’. It is true that this is less profit than we made in 07/08 which represents a downturn in profits, but certainly does not constitute a loss.”
