Nail Brewing Australia, producer of award winning beers Nail Ale and Nail Stout, has released 300 numbered bottles of Clout Stout to the market.

Clout Stout is a 10.6 percent Imperial Stout which is brewed for the beer connoisseur and will retail for about $60 per 750ml bottle.

According to John Stallwood, brewer / director at Nail Brewing Australia, Clout Stout is full bodied and provides a mouthful from just one sip.

Poured from the bottle it is black and thick, initially sweet and full bodied before developing into a smooth, bittersweet finish.

At 10.6 percent ABV it is not for the fainthearted.

“It is brewed to age well,” Stallwood told TheShout. “It has aged in the bottle for over five months on release.”

Clout Stout was brewed to celebrate a 10 year anniversary for Nail Brewing Australia with the imperial stout based on the multi award winning Nail Stout which has won six national titles.

While WA retailers have been quick to offer Clout Stout to their customers, it is also available in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.
