Compass Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Regan Cheriton as CFO, effective March 3.

Cheriton has extensive financial experience with various publicly listed companies in Australia and abroad. He replaces outgoing Compass CFO Geraldine Mack, who has resigned for personal reasons but will remain with CHX on a part-time basis.

“We are delighted to have been able to secure someone of the experience and quality of Regan Cheriton to this important post,” said Compass managing director, Bryan Northcote.

“We also wish to thank Geraldine for her efforts above and beyond the call of duty in ensuring the IPO of the Compass Hotel Group was successfully completed. We are very pleased that Geraldine will be continuing with Compass as her experience in this industry is invaluable."

Compass shares are trading at 97 cents.
