The search is on for Australia’s best bartenders to compete for the chance to be part of the fifth annual 42 Below Cocktail World Cup to be held in Queenstown, New Zealand in September.

This year there will be three regional finals in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland with two winners selected from each final to represent Australia in New Zealand.

To ensure a team truly representative of all of Australia, 42 Below will fly bartenders from Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia to one of the regional finals.

The international cocktail competition draws bartenders from around the world to compete in teams of three, country versus country, over five days of challenges.

The unique competition takes cocktails and mixology out of the bar and into the wild New Zealand outdoors.
