Cooley Distillery, Ireland’s first and only independently owned distillery, has brought its portfolio of brands to Australian shores.

Established in 1987 and located north of Dublin, Cooley Distillery has won a swag of awards for its whiskeys, including over 115 international medals and nine gold medals at the 2008 International Wine and Spirits Competition.

It was also awarded the title of 2010 Distillery of the Year at the 16th Annual Malt Advocate Whisky Awards, run by American whiskey magazine, The Malt Advocate.

The Cooley Distillery portfolio includes Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey, which is a blend of grain and malt whiskeys, Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey, available in various wood finishes including Madeira, Port and Sherry, and Connemara Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey, a smooth and smoky whiskey with a deep peat finish.

Cooley Distillery distributes its products in Australia through Le Shack.

It is currently available to both on- and off-premise trade.
