McWilliam’s Wines is calling for trade members to report any offers to purchase either 750ml bottles of Mateus Rose or 1 litre bottles of Drambuie, following thefts from an independent site last month.

TheShout mistakenly reported on Monday the stock had been removed from a McWilliam’s Wines premises.
A total of 720 cases of Mateus Rose and 1250 half-dozen boxes of the 1-litre Drambuie bottles were removed from a Homebush Bay site on or around March 21.

Any members of the licensed trade who receive offers to buy quantities of the two products outside their normal supply routes should contact Suzy Harle at McWilliam’s Wines on 02 9722 1214, or Flemington Police on 02 9646 8708.
