The two leading Adelaide Hills wineries have joined forces to showcase their sparkling wines with visitor experiences at both locations.
Lovers of sparkling wine can now enjoy expressions from both the Golding and Croser (Petaluma) wineries at either producer’s Adelaide Hills cellar door, with a new visitor tasting and tour named ‘Effervescence – A Sparkling Experience.’
During the course of the three-hour experience, drinkers will enjoy a flight of four wines at each winery, specially paired food, and will travel between venues to soak up their distinct scenery.
Petaluma (in Woodside) and Golding Wines (in Lobethal) are about a 15-minute drive from one another, with visitors partaking in the experience invited to (safely and legally) travel between both wineries at their leisure.
Linda Popp, the Cellar Door Manager of Petaluma Wines said she was delighted to be working alongside another Adelaide Hills winery.
“It’s an honour to be working alongside Golding Wines to showcase the variety in our sparkling’s, where there is sure to be something for everyone’s palates,” Popp said.
“We are thrilled to have guests on board to experience some of our favourite sparkling wines from the season, amidst the very vineyards where they are produced,” Popp continued.
The launch of this new experience follows on from Petaluma’s opening of ‘The Glass Room’ premium tasting space earlier in April.
Golding Wines Co-Founder, Lucy Golding, echoed Popp’s sentiments.
“This collaboration with ourselves and Croser means we can share some of the very best sparkling wines the Adelaide Wine Region has to offer to our visitors,” Golding commented.
The sparkling wine experience costs $40 per person, with drinkers sampling the following wines:
Croser at Petaluma:
1. NV Croser, Adelaide Hills
2. NV Croser Rosé, Adelaide Hills
3. Vintage Croser, Piccadilly Valley
4. Late Disgorged Croser, Piccadilly Valley
Golding Wines:
1. 2021 The Last Hurrah, Adelaide Hills
2. 2015 Marjorie Blanc de Blancs, Adelaide Hills
3. 2016 Marjorie Blanc de Blancs, Adelaide Hills – pre-release

Guests at both Cellar Doors will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive wines at special prices only available to those undertaking this experience.
