Popular pub Harold Park Hotel in the suburb of Forest Lodge, just three kilometres from Sydney’s CBD has been sold in an ‘off market’ sale by JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group.

The hotel underwent a significant renovation in the months leading up to COVID-19, and includes eight GMEs, single bar, a popular bistro, family friendly beer garden, and an attractive function room located on the first floor.

JLL said: “We warmly congratulate all parties in the transaction and thank the vendors for entrusting JLL to discreetly execute on their divestment objectives.”

The hotel broker said that Forest Lodge has the highest hotel per capita ratio of all city-fringe suburbs, with Paddington coming in a distant second place.

The Harold Park Hotel consists of an impressive 900sqm of trading space on a high-exposure corner, directly opposite the Harold Park residential complex by Mirvac, which houses circa 2500 residents alone.

This sale adds to JLL’s recent track record of city-fringe asset sales which include the Lady Hampshire Hotel in Camperdown, Empire Hotel in Annandale, Captain Cook Hotel in Paddington, The London Hotel in Balmain, and the Strand Hotel in Darlinghurst.
