“Since 2007, we have proudly marketed and distributed Carlsberg brands in the Australian market and we are delighted to extend the relationship,” said CUB managing director, John Pollaers.
“We are very pleased with Carlsberg’s performance and look forward to continued growth for the brand.”
Pollaers said that the deal was an early extension of CUB’s current contract and recognises the strong performance for the Carlsberg brand which has seen year-on-year volume growth of 28 percent (AC Nielsen Scantrack Liquor MAT October 2010).
The new deal is a multi-year agreement and covers the Carlsberg and Carlsberg Elephant brands in Australia.
