Dan Murphy's has launched an exclusive range of Diageo-owned Crown Royal premium ready-to-drink whiskies.
Crown Royal is one of the best-selling whiskies in North America and this ready-to-drink range is a brand new product, which is exclusive to Dan Murphy's.
The range comes in two flavours: Crown Royal Whisky and Dry blends whisky with brewed dry ginger ale, while Crown Royal Whisky and Cola blends a well-balanced, cinnamon-vanilla cola with "clean, smooth whisky and the faintest oak wood finish."
Although Crown Royal Whisky, which was created in 1939 to honour the royal grand tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, is available in other retailers, it is this RTD range which is exclusive to Dan Murphy's.
Dan Murphy's Head of Merchandise, Michael Jackson, said the latest innovation from Crown Royal transformed the traditional, smooth, elegant whisky into a modern drink.
"We are always looking to add to our extensive range of over 350 whiskies from around the world and Canadian Crown Royal is one we have had in our sights for a couple of years," Jackson said.
"I think Australian whisky drinkers will love the new ready to drink range because of the unique taste profile."
