Direct Brand Distributors has formed a distribution partnership with Australian Liquor Marketers (ALM) in order to take its full portfolio national.

Adrian Gastevski, the Director of Direct Brand Distributors told National Liquor News that the company’s portfolio of brands has grown to a point where a distribution solution was needed to meet all channels effectively.

“To date Direct Brands has been a direct supplier to the liquor industry via its own distribution network and national sales team,” said Gastevski.

“Over time our portfolio has grown and matured to include some of the worlds most revered and innovative brands and the level of demand from customers has grown as a result. We really needed a distribution solution to help us reach all channels, extend our reach to all parts of the country and importantly, allow our customers to most easily access our range. ALM was the perfect partner for this.”

The Direct Brands gin portfolio includes Geranium Gin; Pinkster, a naturally pink gin made with macerated fresh raspberries; Old English Gin; and Bloom Gin. In addition is has some unique hybrid spirits in its Vodquila brand, with the range including tequila flavoured vodka and Cazcabel Honey Tequila Liqueur.

It also includes a botanically brewed range of spirit mixers called Fentimans, which has been building popularity in Australia over the past 12 months.

“At this stage we are first to market with ALM across a majority of our portfolio,” said Gastevksi. “In some states we are more progressed with the full ranging than others and we aim within six to eight months to have our entire portfolio ranged nationally.”
