Endeavour Group announced that Claire Smith has been appointed as the new Chief Information Officer. Smith has been with Endeavour Group for 11 years, first joining as Head of Online for Dan Murphy’s in 2012.
In 2019, Smith become Director of endeavourX. Since November, she held this role concurrently with that of Interim CIO.
“She has done a fantastic job of overseeing the Technology team and maintaining her leadership of endeavourX while continuing to enable the delivery of Endeavour Group’s technology transformation plans,” Endeavour Group CEO and Managing Director Steve Donohue said of Smith’s period as interim CIO. “In particular, Claire has been able to continue to drive our transformation and we are delighted she will now permanently lead Endeavour Group’s technology agenda.”
As Smith transitions to her new role as CIO, Steve Cuda will take on the role of Interim Director of endeavourX.
Smith spoke of her excitement about the new role and the future of Endeavour Group.
“Endeavour Group has a very bright future due to the exceptional talent we have working on our transformation agenda,” Smith said, “I look forward to continuing to work with these fantastic teams across our business to ensure our technology is meeting the needs of our customers and team now and into the future.”
