Nominations are closing for the Australian Hotels Association New South Wales Awards for Excellence, with the best venues and professionals vying for industry acclaim.

Bringing together the best hotels, operators and suppliers from around the State, the annual Awards for Excellence recognises quality in 30 areas of excellence, including the highly coveted Overall City, and Overall Country Hotel of the Year titles.

Worthy entrants must be lodged by this Friday, with the glittering awards ceremony taking place Monday 24 November at Dockside Pavilion.

“The AHA NSW Awards for Excellence is synonymous with quality – quality awards for quality venues,” says AHA NSW President Scott Leach (pictured).

This year includes some new categories – celebrating the changing face of hospitality – with inaugural trophies for: Best Burger, Hotel Industry Rising Star, Apprentice of the Year and Best Bathroom Facilities

Favourite categories will again be fiercely contested, as standards continue to climb in the arenas of Best New/Redeveloped Hotel, Best Restaurant, Best Casual Dining, Best Gaming Venue and Best Family-Friendly

An official after party will take place, with further details yet to be announced.

The AHA NSW has streamlined the entering process, but specific conditions and criteria do apply. Finalists will be announced Monday, 27 October.
