The recently launched wine distribution business,  Epoch Wine Group, has added a Western Australian wine label to its portfolio.

Margaret River winery Flying Fish Cove will join Epoch on Wednesday May 1.

Under the Epoch Wine Group distribution model, Flying Fish Cove will also become an equity partner in the business.

"Epoch Wine Group brings a distinctly different model to the table," said Flying Fish Cove's managing director, Brett House.

"Hence, we are keen to become involved in the distribution business and not only work on the growth of our own brand, but build on the strength of Epoch over the years to come."

Epoch Wine Group CEO Sam Mete said Flying Fish Cove was a welcome addition to the company's portfolio.

"Their commitment to quality and range of classic Margaret River varietals is the perfect complement to our stable of brands."

Epoch Wine Group was established in April in partnership with Cumulus Estates Wines from Orange and the Berardo Group of Portugal.
