Beam Suntory has revealed some key changes to its executive team, which the company says will simplify its international region structure as it is restructured from six business units to three.

The changes mean that John Rosair, Managing Director – Oceania (pictured above) is promoted to Managing Director, Asia Pacific & Global Travel Retail, with the current Commercial Director for Global Travel Retail, APAC, Andrea Parker, (above) named as his successor.

“We saw an opportunity to streamline our international regional structure to further accelerate our successful growth strategies, and provide greater leadership opportunities for our top talent,” said Pryce Greenow, Beam Suntory President, International.

“We are confident that these changes will empower our teams to drive sustained market performance though greater commercial agility and more consistent ways of working’’.

Rosair has led the company’s Oceania business since 2015 and will now relocate to Singapore for his new role, while Parker has led Beam Suntory’s Global Travel Retail business in the Asia Pacific since 2016.

The company will also consolidate its Western Europe, and Alliance & Emerging Markets business units under the leadership of Yuri Grebenkin, who has been promoted to Managing Director, EMEA. Grebenkin previously led Beam Suntory’s Emerging Europe, Middle East & Africa and Alliance business and prior to that as MD Russia.

In India, Neeraj Kumar will continue to serve as Interim Managing Director. Nadim Assi will continue to lead South and Central America as VP, CFO International and Managing Director, South and Central America.

In aligning its China business with Japan in an expanded Japan and China region, Sho Semba will now serve in the role of President, Japan & China. Jeff Huang will continue to serve as Managing Director of Beam Suntory China.

Beam Suntory’s third operating region is its North America region, comprises the United States, Canada and Mexico, under the leadership of President North America Greg Hughes.
