Premium mixer producer Fever-Tree is adding a 500ml bottle of its popular Indian Tonic Water to its range in Australia and has also unveiled new packaging across its entire range.

The new sized bottle will be available in Australia from the end of June.

The 500ml bottle currently accounts for 75 per cent of Fever-Tree's sales in the UK and the producer's brand manager, James Johnstone, says the Australian launch provides Fever-Tree with the chance to further capitalise on this country's growing premiumisation trend.

"We know that premiumisation is on the rise in Australia," Johnstone said. "We've seen it a lot in the on-premise, with bartenders experimenting with premium mixers in their cocktails, and now drinkers are catching on to the trend.

"The 500ml format is perfect for sharing. Whether that be mixing G&Ts for friends in your own home bar, or taking to a dinner party on the weekend, it's a convenient way for the discerning drinker to share great drinking experiences with friends."

This month also sees new packaging rolled out across all Fever-Tree products in Australia, with the new-look labels "representing the premium and contemporary essence of the Fever-Tree brand".

The 500ml Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water will have a $4.49 RRP.
