Finn Healey has announced his departure from Bacardi-Martini Australia, joining Adelaide-based distillery Ambra Spirits as Managing Director and new Co-Owner, set to assume the role this month.
With a career that began in some of Adelaide’s most renowned pubs and bars, Healey has spent 16 years working in the hospitality and drinks industry, and more recently honed his skills in sales and marketing at Bacardi-Martini Australia.
Speaking about the new venture, Healey said: “Having seen Ambra’s brand grow stronger over the years, from evolving its identity to expanding its range, I’m thrilled to say that the excitement is at an all time high as we embark on this next chapter.
“With the launch of their new distillery bar and the rising trend in the limoncello category, there’s no better time to come on board and steer the ship to new heights.”
Healey first crossed paths with Ambra Spirits after the launch of his own events and cocktail training business, SA Cocktail Events. Since then, he has supported Ambra Spirits Co-Owners Peppe Fusco and Nando Focareta with the development of Ambra’s portfolio drink strategy and their Ambra Experience cellar door events.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge to his new role, Healey’s most recent position of Head of Customer Marketing at Bacardi-Martini Australia saw him drive omnichannel strategy across the company’s portfolio of brands and deliver impactful results through a consumer-centric approach.
Looking to the future of Ambra Spirits, Healey will focus on the brand’s position as an iconic South Australia family business, with a vision to establish the brand as a category leader in the limoncello category and drive innovation.
Focareta, Director of Ambra Spirits, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with the unveiling of a newly-renovated distillery, welcomed Healey to the team.
