Craft beer club Bottled Lightning Co is set to launch a collaboration brew created by TV personality Andrew O’Keefe and Rocks Brewing.
Bottled Lightning Co organises unique monthly events for Sydneysiders organised by the collective’s four founding brewers: Rocks, Young Henrys, Riverside and Batch.
BLCo’s inaugural collaboration brew, Storming Summer Ale, will be pouring at The Rocks Brewing Co Open Air Bar on Australia Day at Sydney’s First Fleet Park, with the first beer free to BLCo members.
“With their bar pitched on convict heartland, our mates from Rocks Brewing promise an Australia Day barbie with a difference,” BLCo said.
“There’ll be live music from 2pm, including Dustin Tebbutt, Saskwatch, Thelma Plum, Little May, The Bombay Royale and more… and the grills will be cooking from noon.”
“Simply turn up to The Rocks Brewing Co Open Air Bar at First Fleet Park on Australia Day, flash your Bottled Lightning Co. membership card, and get a Storming Summer Ale on the house.”
Sea Food Drink Beer – Wednesday January 28
Storming Summer Ale will also be pouring at selected Sydney venues and the next BLCo event, Sea Food Drink Beer at Matt Moran's North Bondi Fish on Wednesday, January 28.
"Moran’s restaurant is a relaxed and open space, overlooking one of the most beautiful locations in the world while serving up some of the freshest seafood in town. So grab a few mates and join us to sink a few with a view, while Moran’s team fills you to the gills," BLCo says.
