Australia's First Families of Wine (AFFW) is launching an Expo Series of tastings in conjunction with Selector magazine.

Kicking off in Sydney on Saturday 24 May, the AFFW Expo Series will see the 12 members of the AFFW come together to give wine lovers the chance to taste almost 80 wines from their portfolios all under the same roof.

Representing 16 regions, the members of the AFFW include Brown Brothers, Campbells, d’Arenberg, DeBortoli, Henschke, Howard Park, Jim Barry, McWilliam’s, Tahbilk, Taylors, Tyrrell’s and Yalumba.

AFFW chairman, Mitchell Taylor, said the Expo Series is a chance to taste an unbelievable variety of wines that are not available collectively anywhere else.

“These tastings are a chance for our families to bring the cellar door experience straight to the wine loving public,” said Taylor.

“We know not everyone has the chance to travel around the country experiencing our wines, so instead we are bringing the wines to them.”

The Sydney event will take place at the Parkroyal Hotel in Darling Harbour this weekend, with the Melbourne event taking place on Sunday 29 June at Park Hyatt Melbourne, followed by the Brisbane tasting on Sunday 24 August at Moda Events Portside.
