Mixologist and former ALIA Bartender of the Year, Evan Stanley, is heading to the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa, to help improve the resort’s drinks offering.

As well as winning the ALIA in 2013, Stanley has extensive bar and lounge experience and he will reside at the resort for the next three months to impart his expertise and creativity.

Stanley will be based at the resort’s Kama Lounge and will be working to help educate and develop the Lounge’s team in the art of mixology; of the different products and the creation of new cocktails infused with local ingredients adding to the Kama Lounge cocktail menu.

Akira Tanaka, InterContinental Fiji’s director of dining and entertainment said: ““We are excited to have someone of Evan’s calibre in the newly refurbished Kama Lounge and be able to engage his expertise.  Evan will assist in the creation of new cocktails infused with local ingredients to be introduced to our extensive offering.

“Through engaging Evan, this will contribute to the delivery of a heightened experience across our Restaurants & Bars, InterContinental Meetings and Club InterContinental.  Delegates and guests alike can expect a true sense of place with our well-crafted cocktails complimented with amazing vistas at Natadola Bay.”
