Liquor retail operators will have access to subsidised training courses for at least another three years, following the renewal of an agreement between Foster’s Group and the Australian Liquor Stores Association (ALSA).

The multi-beverage supplier has again thrown its weight behind the Retail Liquor Development Foundation (RLDF) — a joint initiative with ALSA — and agreed to continue to subsidise the courses.

RLDF general manager, Jim Jusic, said they are now also looking at other opportunities to provide additional value over and above the successful courses. This could include further support for participants after completing the modules and also helping trade members understand the available career pathways.

Over the past five years, more than 3000 people have undertaken the subsidised RLDF modules.
