Foster’s Group is set to capitalise on the success of its Pure Blonde brand with the release of two new low-carbohydrate beers.

The first new release is Pure Blond Naked — a mid-strength low-carbohydrate beer with an ABV of 3.5 per cent.

It will be targeted at premium beer drinkers in Queensland and the Northern Territory, where strong demand for mid-strength beers has been attributed to warmer climates.

Foster’s has said it has no intention to distribute Pure Blond Naked in other Australian states or territories at this stage.

Also new to market will be Carlton Natural Blonde, a full-strength low-carbohydrate beer with an ABV of 4.2 per cent. It will be targeted at health-conscious males aged 25 years and above and distributed nationally.

Foster’s said it will officially announce the release of the new beers later this month.
