Supported by the City of Sydney and Pride Amplified, the four week activation launches today and blends food, music, art and community, with 95 parties, performances and events scheduled across 14 venues.

The aim of the community-led effort is to bring life back to the heart of Darlinghurst and showcase the many talented artists and musicians, whilst celebrating Sydney WorldPride 2023.

Highlights from the event include a one-day margarita festival, Friday aperitivo hour celebrating Sydney’s answer to ‘Little Italy’, Darlo dogs in the pub competition at The Lord Roberts, drag bingo with Luna Sparks, a cooking masterclass with celebrity chef Scott Findlay at Flave, a rainbow pizza special at newcomer Harry’s, life drawing at Funkatello and much more.

Throughout the full four weeks of events, a range of food vendors will showcase a variety of dishes and drinks, while local musicians and artists create the ambience with live music and art performances. Plus, there will be a number of interactive workshops and demonstrations featured throughout the event’s calendar.

Keeping with the event theme and name, each venue will also provide a ‘secret’ for guests to discover, only when they arrive at each location.

Announcing the event, the organisers described Secrets on Stanley as “a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, connect with their neighbours and celebrate the diverse cultures and talents that make Sydney such a special place.”

A range of free and ticketed events are on offer through Secrets on Stanley, which will run from 17 February to 18 March.
