Listed Western Australian brewer Gage Road Brewing has responded to trade and consumer feedback by giving its premium lager new packaging and tweaking its name.

Previously known as Gage Roads Premium Lager, it was decided to drop the ‘Roads’ to make the name shorter and easier to order at the bar.

The new packaging features brighter colours, has a premium feel and continues to features the Gage Roads Triton logo.

“Our aim was to retain existing brand equity, whilst giving the product a packaging upgrade that’s in line with the premium quality beer inside,” said national marketing manager, Sarah Carne.

Gage Premium Lager will be presented in a taller twist top bottle and high gloss cartons.

The new look lager will hit the shelves around mid July and will retail for around $16.99 per 6-pack and $50 per carton.
