Having left Kentucky, delegates on the ILG Study Tour enjoyed two days of sightseeing in New York, taking in the sights of Manhattan including a visit to Central Park and an evening at the baseball at Yankee Stadium.

On day two, the group got out on the harbour with a visit to Liberty Island and the Statue of Liberty, as well as the Ellis Island Immigration Museum – the gateway to the US for more than 12 million immigrants between 1892 and 1954. The day’s activities concluded with a sobering afternoon visit to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at Ground Zero.

Starting off the evening with happy hour at the Sofitel New York, many took the chance a little later to wander down a few blocks to Broadway for a night at the theatre.
